Hello again I realize I am extremely needy when it comes to these muscovys but I appreciate everyone bearing with me. I introduced my 4 Muscovy ducks (2 hens/2 drakes) to my 8 hens last Sunday. My muscovy hens, especially one in particular is attacking my hens very aggressively and I am already having a problem with my chickens feather loss so this is making me crazy!!! My ducks were born Jan 23rd of this year so they are relatively young. I raised them myself and they are some what friendly to me and my sister. I am a full time student so keeping the ducks with the chickens makes my life 10x easier. because I have them all on one side of my yard that is fenced away from the dogs during the day/afternoon until I get home in the evening, and then they are allowed out in my back yard, which is almost an acre. I feed all of the birds the same thing; flock raiser its 18% protein, and oyster shell/eggshell which I know is a tad too high for the ducks but the chickens feathers look TERRIBLE!! so they need the extra protein for now until i can figure the feather problem out. I also have been treating the chickens for 2 weeks with seven dust, but no results yet, I think they need to molt first before I see any real improvement. I am so lost and frustrated about all this. I am starting to think I have no idea what I am doing and I have raised chickens my entire life but never has any issues like this. Are my ducks eventually going to stop being so aggressive? is it because they are getting ready to molt? or lay eggs? the two drakes are relativity mean as well to the chickens, but i think its just over food the hens are attacking the chickens for the fun of it they herd them around. PLEASE help I really am very upset about all of this I love my chickens and hate to see them getting beat on.

Here is where they are kept until i get home in the late afternoon, arround 3 pm. Maybe ut is too small and thats why they are losing feathers? Maybe they are picking eachother while i am not there? Also they are out all day on weekends. If so what do i do about that? TIA
