Help with my chickens pooping inside

While our two chickens are part of our family, they come inside a lot and poop everywhere.
Other than keeping our doors closes (which really isn't a possibility) and having them wear diapers, what are our options?
Has anyone used a device like scat mat to keep your chickens inside?

Chickens cannot be housebroken. Leaving them outside or putting diapers on them are your only options. Sorry.

It is a personal thing, but I would not keep chickens inside your house, and let them go all over. I keep a lot of old hay inside the coop and the run, and that pretty much absorbs the poop.

I have a simmilar issue with our roo when he comes in at night to sleep. I have limited him to the bathroom and put fresh newspaper down in the area he mainly occupies. I know it gets smelly and gross but at least the newspaper is easy to get up and in the trashcan the next day.
