Hello y’all,
I have a nine-month-old female Muscovy Who is having a very foul smelling diarrhea. It is almost like an ash gray with some white and very watery. I’ll post a picture to show. She was salivating and started vomiting clear today. She only vomited once that I’ve seen. She has been sitting on her very first clutch of eggs for the last 9 days. We’ve noticed the last few days that she has the diarrhea and has been farting. LOUDLY. We have 1 drake and he has been relentlessly trying to mate with her. He’s pulled out tail feathers and she’s starting to get a bald spot on the back of her neck. We only have the pair. She doesn’t eat much, so every few days I throw in some peas, corn, and carrots for her to munch on in with her feed. I am not sure what to do. Please help!

Can you take her to a vet? Anything she might of eaten recently, screws, rotten carcass or moldy feed? Big smelly poop is common with broody's.

You need to separate her from the drake ASAP! Put food an water close by. She may not be eating enough with the drake trying to mate her every breath.

Thank you! We have them separated for now, my concern will be that they share the coop at night. I only have one. 😥 They free range all day and he normally stays out of the coop until night.

I am unable to get her to a vet currently. We keep the yard free of anything small that she could eat. No rotten food or anything. I am going to go with what you and most people have said about it being broody stinky poop.
