This is an old thread, but to answer your question you need to candle the eggs. To candle the eggs find or make a dark place. Then use a bright light such as the flashlight on a cell phone and put it tight to the egg. If the duckling (or chick) is internally pipped you will see shadows in the aircell.How do you know when they've pipped inside?
