HELP WITH MY QUAIL!!!!

I have just had a quail egg hatch today and it's toes are tucked in.the quail is so tiny that I've tried the ways to make the toes go straight out but none of them work they all just end up coming off. I have no clue what to do this is the first time this has ever happened to me I need help now!!! He will die without help

Did you say the toes have come off? As in permanently detached from the body? That sounds severe.

Have you hatched quail in the past?

No I was saying that everything that I've tried to put on his foot to fix it kept coming off I have hatched quail in the past that everything went smoothly except this one was in the egg longer so that's why his feet are like this

Have you hatched quail before? They are pretty tiny and rather curled up at first. Anyborhers hatched yet?

Yes I have hatched before, but his feet have been like this for 5 hours... He was in the egg and extra 5 days

Quail feet are tough! Do you have a roll of masking tape that's more narrow? Maybe 1/2"?
