Help with my quails.

Hello everyone so I just bought two female quails that are older than a month and I bought them like three days ago or two and they are not laying can you gus give me info on these quails there japanese or coutrnix quails please give me info on them laying.

they may still be adjusting to their new home i think it can take up to a week before they will start laying or they haven't started laying yet

They also won't start laying until they are 7-8 weeks old.

I don't know where you are located, but where live the days are getting shorter now, and without extra lighting they won't lay again until spring.
