Help with nesting mallard

She is limping and one of her legs looks deformed. She is missing lots of feathers and where you are assuming that she was attacked by multiple male mallards who are brutal.
She is very determined and is sitting on the nest and I am giving her food and water so we’re hoping that maybe she can weather this storm.
The leg deformity may be the result of poor nutrition and niacin deficiency. I fear that even if she survives long enough to hatch the ducklings she will not be able to raise them successfully. It sounds harsh but if the rehabber will take the ducklings, I would remove all the ducklings from her but just 1 or 2 for her to try to raise and give the rest to the rehabber. Talk to them about this solution as they will not accept the setting hen.
Make sure that the food you are giving her is made specifically for waterfowl.
