Baby chick hatched this morning between 10pm-4am. It was not assisted, we we're asleep and it is the first one from this hatch, this is our second hatch. The baby chick seems to be shivering (my opinion) and there is blood, as seen in the picture. Can anyone tell me what that is, if there is a chance it can survive, and what maybe could have caused it.

Baby chick looks like he's breathing heavily when laying down, or shivering when he is on his feet.

It looks to me like the blood is coming out of his bellybutton. If so, that's...well, not normal, but not really abnormal. It likely means he was slightly too strong/developed and hatched slightly too early, probably because of a slightly higher temperature.

If you're worried, put some triple antibiotic ointment or a drop of Blu-Kote on his bum when he comes out, but I think he'll be fine.

The shivering is a bit odd. Take him out and put him under a heat lamp/manna brooder (if you can) so that he can dry out better, and that should stop it.

Oh baby! Hope u get well I don't have any experience with home hatching but my wishes:hugsfollow the advices
Baby is so cute though:love

You already got good advice. Mine is to check your humidity. If hes having trouble drying then it may be too high. Just don't add anymore water and let the humidity of the other hatches keep it stable .
