I have two peachicks, and I am wondering if I am right on the sex. I am pretty sure the blue one is male, but I am not sure about the white one. They are 9 month old.

Also, if they are both male, do I need to get a female? They are dancing and making strange noises, so I am wondering if its because they need a lady friend.

Thank you.

Looks like both are males whites can be difficult for me to tell with a photo but given the size and the tail coming to a piont in the middle and the lack of fold in neck feathers makes me think male.
If you want more peas then yes get some more hens

Yes, The mother was an India blue, and the father white.
Do I have to get a female to keep them happy? At this point I don't want anymore, not because I don't love them, just because of room.

Looks like they are free ranging and that will be fine until they reach maturity, at that time they may leave in search of mates.

Thank you for the answers so far, my next question is it seems they don't mature for 2-3 years, does that mean I don't have to worry about a mate this year?

Thank you again!

Most don't fully mature until 3 years old, they may do some calling and have a smaller 3 ft. train at 2 years, but the mating urge just doesn't seem quite as strong. So you are probably okay until 3 years of age. Now..... there can be exceptions to every rule, but no way to know that without being there to observe them.
