My little sister has a 3 male Pekin ducks that are each about 2 weeks old. 2 are completely fine and healthy but one as of about 20 hours ago can no longer walk or even stand. In fact, he doesn’t even seem to wanna sit. This came really out of the blue because he was walking pretty okay the day before. We started him on a niacin supplement plan (using poly vi sol without iron) and are allowing him to swim in order to build leg strength. He was on regular chick feed so that’s where the lack of niacin would have come from. He doesn’t seem to be getting better or worse and I’m worried that it could be something more serious. Does niacin really help as quickly as people say it does (if it helps at all)? His name is waddles and he’s so sweet and cuddly. He’s currently separated from the others and in my room so I can make sure he doesn’t flip and can get water/food. Will see if there is a vet to take him to once it’s not 3am...

pictures show that he wants to extend his legs outwards. Like he is resting on his back. Any help would be so appreciated!!!

Do you have a few pictures or videos of him walking or standing upright?

Here are some links to videos of him walking/standing (or at least trying to). He doesn't seem any better this morning but I don't think its worse. Already gave him about 5 drops of poly vi sol this morning. Will let him swim in about an hour.

I believe your bird is niacin deficient, could you follow the treatment in this thread?

Poly-vi-sol contains very little niacin, she needs something stronger, get the brand suggested in the thread I linked.

I certainly will! My grandpa is on the way to tractor supply to pick up the Durvet stuff you recommended. Because he is two weeks old I should give him 1/2 a mL of the stuff once a day correct? Thank you so much for the help!

If they don't have that, you can get stuff called Aspen B complex at TSC.
