Help with PenG ?

Can someone tell me how to give the Pen G to my sick rooster?

I can't find any solution to his breathing problems, can't find airway obstruction and chicken Heimlich doesn't do anything for him. Gave him some inhaler and doesn't do much for him, last resort here is PenG since I have been asking for two days and no one can tell me anything to do for him!

Can someone tell me how much to give him and how to administer? Do I inject it into his breast muscles?

Mold an cause apsergillosis in chickens, and is in the environment where there is moisture, maybe on the ground, possibly in feed, anywhere water is spilled on pine shavings. It can cause respiratory and other problems. It does not cause wheezing or other respiratory noises. If your rooster would have that, there is no cure other than removing any mold that is visible, and keeping conditions dry. I would be very cautious using an inhalor on a chicken becuse it can cause high heart rate. If he has a respiratory disease, then drugs such as Tylan, Gallimycin, or Duramycin would be more appropriate than penicillin G. Here is a list of common diseases for you to read including MG, IB, ILT, coryza, and aspergillosis:

I plan to pick up Tylan tomorrow, I can put duramayacin in his water but hes not eating or drinking much.

Would medicated chick starter help at all in the mean time?

I'll still give him the Pen G as I don't know what's wrong, can't hurt.

Tylan 50 injectable dosage is 1 ml for over 5 lb, 1/2 ml for 2- 5 lb, and 1/4 for bantams, injected into the breast muscle 1/2 inch. Use 22 gauge needle.
