We are in the process of starting our own farm. We have a rustic farmhouse and its all mountains around us. We will be selling goat soaks, lotions, etc. butchered meats and just showing off the overall farm and animals. We need help with a farm name though. Every name we picked out 15 other people have it. Any help would be great!

I don't have any ideas for names, but I have to chime in and say that I admire your courage. In asking. This lot. To name anything. :)

When my wife and I bought our new home, we labored over the name greatly. We ended up combining a few different words that represented the place. We call it Woodjay Farm, because when we moved in there were stacks and stacked of cut wood, as well as tons of blue jays always at the feeders.

What about Muscovy Mountain Farms? Or how about Goat Pasture Products? Nanny Gables Farms?

What region do you live in? Any unique characteristics about the house or property? What other animals do you raise?

You want a simple name.
Perhaps your last name. Or the street the farm is on. I used my grandfathers name translated into English.

A favorite pet. I considered using three maples as our old property had 3 huge maples, 6 ft around. So perhaps a land feature of the property. Or a flower. ie Rice Mountain Farm, Red Rose Farm. Or use the name of the owners like Bob and Suzy's Farm. Red Rock Farm. Blackstone RIver Farm. Mountain View Farm. Greenfield Farm Vista view Farm.

town name.

Leave out your products as your product line may change over the years. Hard to change Cedar Ridge Goat Farm when the goats leave and the sheep arrive.

Live with the name for several months to a year if possible.
