My GUESS:
Boy
Girl
Girl
Boy
Girl

The way I tell is by the tail feathering at a week or 2 old, the older they get at this middle age, the harder it is for me to guess.
I know Polish girl's top hats are more round, which is why I guessed the way I did....

Any one else? I thought the same the only one I am really unsure if is chick 3, thinking it might be a boy!

To me, they all look like girls. When our Polish Crested "Buttercup" first started feathering in, his crest was very different from the other five. While all of the girls' feathers came in and immediately started to flop, his came in and stood straight up on his head. Furthermore, his crest feathers were pointed, while his female counterpart Aretha had rounded feathers in her crest.

I can't remember exactly how old he was in this pic, but you can see how pointed his crest feathers are, and how they form a different shape. By comparison, here are the crests of our hens:

And one pic of our roo once he was all grown up, just so you can get an idea of what the crest is growing into if they are boys. :)

lol noises like a seagull... Yes, Polish Hens are VERY vocal. Our hen Aretha will just stand there and belt out a song for ages. It had my dad quite concerned because he couldn't figure out what she was upset about until I came over for a visit and explained she was just singing. XD

Our fully grown polish hens are very chatty, and sassy! They are completely dim but love to push around the other pullets!
