Just read up on prolapse - noticed my 21 wk old BO w/ it today - this would be her first egg.
I can see the egg off to the right-hand side - looks like the wall of whatever that organ is (cloaca?) is stretched thin over it. The shell feels crackly but the egg looks intact.
I'm going to try the honey & giving her some calcium, but wondered what if anything to do about what's inside - I'm I supposed to try to deliver the egg, or just get it to go back in & then hopefully the egg will come out on its own?
Thanks!
