Canker. It's gotten really bad, the inside of his throat is swollen to the point where he can't swallow, and it's been like that for months now. The vet prescribed metronidazole for ten days, which I did, but I don't think anything has improved. I tried to contact this vet again--along with another one who treats chickens--but neither responded.what are you trying to treat?
It's probably not canker, but go ahead and try the pigeon stuff. I've been through this with a few of mine and I suspect the last two were actually cancer.
