help with roost and nest box location in tractor

We are building an A frame style tractor, with 2 nest boxes, which my husband placed half way up the tractor against the back- about 2 ft off the ground. So..... where should we place the roost? If it needs to be higher than the nests, should we move the nests down? All thoughts on this appreciated!

Usually put nest boxes about 9-12" off the ground, and then the roosts 2' or more off the ground, depending on the height of your apex of the A.

Thanks! My husband moved the nest boxes and made 2 roosts. Everything is looking great now!
