Help with Rooster spur

Hello everyone my husband just clipped the roosters spur into the quick how do we stop the bleeding he seems to be fine but i dont want nothing to happen to him...........

Keep him seperate form the others for a half hour.

You can also pick up a product at the pet store (or your local vet might put some in a zip lock baggie like mine did) used on dogs when you accidentally cut their nail in to the quick. I think it's called Quick Stop?

Indeed it is quick stop also Talcum powder works

flour or cornstarch will work equally well...baby powder ONLY if nothing else is available.
