help with Scaly leg mites ASAP

I mix up the wettable powder Sevin and spray it inside the house (not soak). I dust the nest boxes every time I change the bedding. It is a continual battle to keep down the critters!!

Well I gave them a dose of ivomec last night. Hope they get better soon.

I gave my rooster 2 drops and each hen 1.

How long should it be before I start noticing anything?

Tea tree oil can cause bad reactions in birds. I would avoid it.

Thats what I've been told on here as well as well as doing yahoo searches. I just don't know how long it takes before you start to notice a difference.

The oil smothers them immediately so I used it and then put the ivomec pour on on them. I just dipped the legs in vegetable oil.

I just dewormed them with wazine on Sunday, but now just noticed that my one of my roosters has scaly legs too. Was planning on using the pour on in a week, but can I use it now? Or should I just put the oil on, until I use the pour on? Thanks for this thread and thanks for the info.
