Help with Scar. What do I put on it? Pics added!

I aquired a beautiful aracauna hen last night and it has some feathers missing on its back from the previous owners rooster trying to mate with her. I am wondering what I can put on it to help it heal quicker. I am going out now to take some pictures of her. It is not bloody but my chickens love to peck anything.Thanks!

There are various no-peck solutions (blue) that come with a little dauber. The blue deceives the eyes of the other birds, discouraging pecking. Farm stores, co-ops and tack shops often have this, and rural hardware stores.

I would put duct tape or a saddle on her. The duct tape will fall off when her feathers come back in.

I was looking for a link that had all the info on how to make one. I thought I had bookmarked it, but it's got straps that lay under the wings. It protects the hen from feather loss due to overmating.

Ok I might have to make one. I just discovered that last night one of our hens is turning into a roo. He/she is 15 weeks old and starting to grow spurs. Also his comb is getting big quick. He is already trying to mate with her. Silly chickens.So now we have three roos and 7 hens. I am gonna have to make a bigger coop for them.

I think what you have there is an easter egger. She will probably lay a green egg. I have one that looks just like her, and she is always being chased by our roos.
