Help with sex

Hello all. I bought 15 hens from an online hatchery and this bird is looking more like a rooster. Just recently it became more noticeable that it might not be a hen. Are my thoughts on point. It's the only bird with the wattle growing out and comb being taller. They were born on 7/20.

Darn it. I can't have a rooster in the city, although Chicago doesn't really have any ordinances on it. I'd rather not be the ahole neighbor as much as I'd love too, but next door neighbors are good people. Some really deserve a rooster singing to them every morning.

Actually, we thought it out and we would keep it until it becomes a problem. I'm sure he'll be pampered being the only boy.

Good call. You never know about the neighbors. Most of mine, like myself, enjoy the sound of a roosters crow. You can always give your neighbors "I'm sorry" eggs. It's hard to complain when you get free eggs every once in a while. We're spaced out around here, but my closest neighbors can't hear the crowing from inside their house. All that said. Their dogs make more noise than my roosters, so I wouldn't give a sh** either way.

Honestly, I don't care too much. I respect the next door neighbors, but since we live in Shitcago( can't wait to escape) we live piled up on top of each other, although we do live in single family homes. We do have the busybodies that don't have any men in their lives and all they seem to do is complain about everything.
