So I have 5 ducklings. They are all a little over 4 weeks now. I think that's when you can start to tell when the ducklings are male or female by their voice. They don't really get too loud when I'm around them as we have cuddled lots and they are quiet use to me, but I got them when they were talking a bit. The 2 black swedish and the other 3 I'm still not sure on the breed of duck they are and they are hard to tell apart. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the video of all them they don't really talk much if I pick one single one up and separate it. So just a general idea of what I might have would be fine I don't really care which one is which. I just need to know if I need to prepare a bigger coop to expand. If I need to wait a little longer let me know and I will make another request. Thank you in advance to anyone that helps. <3

Edit: Apologies, Dark Campbells, not Khaki!

The breeds are 2 Black Swedish and 3 Dark Campbells :)

The Campbell on the far right with the yellowish bill + dark tail is a boy. Left Campbell may be a boy as well.. Middle Campbell is a girl. I’m not too sure on your Swedes. Even the one you focus on at the end, I can’t tell which voice is theirs..

Anyone with a noticeable voice change, making that peep-honking sound, maybe even a loud quack, are your girls. Boys will still have their baby peep.

The one i focused on do like a peep honking thing and is so cuddly with me. I feel it may be a girl. The other swedish still does a baby peep he is really the main one that does a baby peep or doesn't peep at all. Thank you so much for that.

Sorry for being late but look at the tail feathers. Males have random strands sticking up in the air, it looks funny, look it up! Also pay attention at their voice. Females do the signature loud quack, males don't. As they get older (it takes longer for them then females) they get a more raspy, slightly quiet voice. While the female is getting the loud quack the male might still have the duckling squeak for a while. And size. Males usually grow a bit faster and are a bit bigger, in my experience. Also look for the feathers as those start to grow in. There are a few other ways but those are my biggest ones. Thanks for reading, God bless!
