Help with this Game rooster

Got this rooster a couple days ago.Anybody know what he is? I know what I was told but want some opinions. Someone tried to trim his comb at to young of a age and it grew back out some and didn't even trim his waddles. Gotta have him retrimmed for the Fair later this year because my 10 yr old wants to show him.

Yes, he looks like a Black Breasted American Gamefowl.

Bb red covers a very broad range of gamefowl. Only the original breeder would know.

BBRed possibly crossed with a Wheaton which could explain the yellow legs and lighter colored eyes.
