Help with USPS!!!

Just an update....it now says its in Atlanta (2-3 hours from me) and in transit to destination....so I'm assuming I'll get the package tomorrow!?
 
I did not pay anything for the eggs/shipping....these are from the May egg swap. I'm hoping they will be delivered today and in better condition than the last ones we received!!
 
On a better note....the person who sent me the eggs has offered to send more eggs to me!!! YAY! I might get some eggs after all! lol
 
So, I had to go to the post office today to mail out some eggs and I asked the lady what could have happened....she said she has no idea and that I should have had the package by Tuesday at the latest!!! The mailman came and went to day too....no package!

Hi! I understand, that is so insanely frustrating! I'd have thought you'd have the box the next morning after it went through Atlanta.
I just read of a box going from MI to NC being misrouted to HONOLULU, HI.
All *I know of* you can do make a complaint with USPS customer service.
Who should I contact if I haven't received a specific item?
If you have a tracking number - Contact Track and Confirm customer service at:
1-800-222-1811
If an item is lost - Contact the mailer and ask them to track the item or file a claim.

I call and make a complaint (to my local postmaster and the 1-800 #)and also a written complaint every single time USPS messes up my shipments.
Honestly, USPS usually does a great job moving my precious boxes of eggs, but there are individuals who make repeated mistakes that need to find a different line of work.
I hope your box does show up soon, and in good condition.
