I bought this water feeder for some 4 week old ducklings
There currently still living inside because it’s too cold to go outside..but they splash the water about everywhere so I’ve bought one of these so they can always have clean water to drink, then the other water they mess with can just be for splashing about in
Anyway I’ve put it in today and it looks like it’s doing the right thing
But after an hour or two it’s emptied everywhere and all over the brooder
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong as all looks like it’s fitted correctly and when I fill it up it doesn’t look like it’s leaking!
But it must be as the thing is empty everytime i check?
Am I being stupid?
What have I missed here lol x

If it’s low enough then yea they are probably kicking it out or splashing it out. You could either get a new waterer or do a little DIYing! You could cut a 2 inch tall circle of cardboard and tape it on to raise it up so the water will not come over the side. Just a thought, could work! Good luck
