Hello! I have an 18 week old red sex link hen. She hasn't laid her first egg yet, but I've been watching her closely. This morning I watched her poo out a watery, blood tinted stool. I then noticed two more of these dropping inside the coop. I'm worried this may be cocci!!? Any help of what this could be? Or Definitely cocci??
It could be just intestinal lining that's shedding- but it's a lot lighter red. Coccidia can be treated by using Corid.
