I gave it some poly-vi-sol a few hours ago and i think that helped it alot.
I thought it was ok leaving it over night but i just wanted to make sure

Yes, it can stay in the 'bator overnight and no, it doesn't need to drink until then. It probably won't eat much for another day, as it's still "living off" the yolk.

I took a pair of sharp scissors and snipped it off...being very careful not to pull or damage it in any way.
