How can i help a chick that's less than a day old stand.. It can seem to stand and has just lay over night in the incubator and hasn't fluffed up either. I feel so helpless

Try giving it a drop of Nutridrench vitamins or Polyvisol w/out iron, that might help it perk up...
Just keep in mind that some just aren't very strong after hatching...

ETA: if it's leg are sticking out to either side, it may be splay leg and need a hobble for a bit... use a bandaid to keep the legs closer together...

I think nutri drops is ok, check to see if it has iron... do not give if it has iron... not sure on dosage of that, but just try a drop then give a drop of water... set drop on top of beak tip, don't try forcing it as it could choke...

It has Perked up a wee bit and trying its best to walk. Its very small compaired to its buddy so maybe not all is well inside but time will tell

You're very welcome, glad it's making improvement... just post on here and I'll see it, don't worry... :)
Some chicks just take a bit to get going so just give it time... glad it has a buddy, just watch for it getting picked on or accidentally run over... I'd give it some more drops, like 3 throughout the day... hope it keeps improving! :)

Wee hope died about 10 minutes ago... I tried my very best but it just wasn't enough!! Something just wasn't right

Sorry to hear he died... Sometimes they are born too weak to survive.

I usually give my chicks that appear weak some water mixed with honey, b12, vitamin c and d.
