Help!

I posted this on another thread about crowing hens and got conflicting answers, so I'm going to post here and see what you all say.

I know the breed (blue cochin), but am worried about the gender. Any help would be appreciated!

How old is it? The darker color in the wing bar is making me suspect a cockerel.

Right at 6 months. I'm really sad if it's a rooster, because I can't keep a rooster! This is my favorite bird, too. Anything I can do to know for sure?

If it's a rooster, you know anyone who wants a pretty blue cochin?

Six months old-Are you sure? It doesn't crow? If so I will change my earlier post of a young rooster to that of a pullet soon to lay eggs; if she isn't already.

She's making a weird sound that could be a crow, that's what prompted my post.
