In a really young chick the pine shavings can be a problem too. switch it out to paper towels until they are a couple of weeks old.

Unless you got a bad bag it shouldn't be the feed. 24% feed is more likely to cause problems not less. I have also heard some bad things about dumor. Not that I'm saying that's the problem but switching to that feed is not likely to get rid of the problem unless you just got a bad bag of the other feed.

I missed how old they are but if you just got them I'd call the hatchery and if they are several weeks old I'd consider something like cocci.

So you really need to check your set-up again just in case.. Also, post pics of your set-up, check their poo daily... monitor each one.. make sure they are eating and drinking! Baby chicks Dehydrate Super fast.. Adding a little electrolytes to their water could help some as well. Contact the hatchery and let them know what you are dealing with. Dumor 24% chick feed is not medicated. What are you putting in their water? How often are you changing their bedding?
