My chicks eyes are closed and it needs help

Its the one that is looking up and the one on its side. I need help quick

What temp is your brooder? Any other symptoms? What does its poop look like? How long has it been like that?

Do they stay that way? Are you sure it isn't just sleeping?

The chick is just really unstable and it's not eating its drinking when I water it with the dropper and its poop is like water. The brooder temp is 80 degrees.

Hmm. @casportpony might be able to help? 80 sounds a bit low, if these chicks are just a few days old.

Yes, that is still a bit young for 80. I'd bump up the temperature to about 85. Conventional advice says to have an area in the brooder that is 90 until 1wk of age, (I don't use that method anymore for healthy chicks, I use a heating pad) but if the chick cannot move out of the heat, it will overheat.

Its the one in the middle of the black on and the one that looks like a chipmunk. the one that looks like a chipmunk that is closest to us is having the same problem and its a week and a half years old the black one and the other chipmunk one that is eating is also a week and a half. I dont understand the black one and the one that is eating are really healthy and all the quail are healthy. I miss read the thermometer it says 82.

Hmm, okay. I don't think 80 is too low for week and a half olds, so back at square one.....
