My chicks are 8 days old and for the past couple of days their body have turned slightly black. Pls help.

Glad you could join us here! I see you have posted in the emergency section, I'm sure members there will be able to help you out. At 8 days old they should be getting their feathers so it may just be that. Or do you mean their actual skin is black? What breed are your chicks as some breeds have black skin.

I am not sure which breed is it. Looks like its their skin what is turning black. Its a broiler chicks. I had tried to upload the pic for ur reference but there seems always to be an error. I am also trying to post the pic now. Hope it works.

I'm not sure on broilers but I'm sure folks in emergency section will be able to help you. You may need to switch to desktop version of BYC to upload a pic. You can do this by scrolling down to the bottom of any page and clicking desktop.

I am not getting any idea on how to upload pic. Do i have to use a desktop for that? My laptop is not working now. I tried what u said but there seems no option to post pic.
