So, I've been hatching eggs for about 4 years and I thankfully haven't had any issues where I have to help. Recently though, I've been having quite a few but nothing too serious until today. The eggs are on day 23 and four babies have hatched so far. On day 20, four eggs pipped. Two hatched that day and the next two more pipped and hatched but the two from day 20 haven't moved since. About an hour and a half and hour ago, the one did hatch but I didn't get to see it hatch so I don't know if anything went wrong. When I went to check the incubator, I saw the baby laying kinda weirdly and moving weird so I looked closer and saw that there's like a bump right at the base of her neck, like a bone in the wrong place. I watched her and she started to move. She just kinda rolls around and she can't move her neck at all. Is there something wrong with her? Can I do anything to help? And as for the other, the egg looks really dried out. I was watching it, and he kept wiggling around, but the egg didn't break or anything. I know he's alive, I hear him crying and no matter how much he moves, the egg won't break, it's just the little peep hole, nothing more. Is there anything I can do for him? It's never taken this long for any of my past chicks to hatch. Normally after they pip it only takes about 3-6 hours. I know the humidity and everything is okay and the other four are all normal and healthy jumping around. I'm worried about these two and I hope there's something I can do. I'll take a close look at the first baby with the lump tomorrow when I take her out of the incubator to put her with the others. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
