Hi..... i've been keeping chicken since i was young and they all grew up without any trouble but the last two batches i bought of baby chicken are falling ill, it starts with this thing on their nose and then it spreads all the way to their eyes and they can not open their eyes and within a few days they die... i tried givung them meds from local vet shop but nothing seem to work. One of hen hatched eggs and all her chicken died because of it.... i dont want to loose any of my chicken now i really love them.... there is another chicken a month old she have been breathing strangely its like yawning but not really yawning its like she can't breathe well last time she fell ill she almost died plz help me as soon as possible

It would be good for you to get a Necropsy done Quick to determine what you are dealing with so you can get busy doctoring them---if possible. Waiting, guess Doctoring them might cause you to loose more.

If you are not going to do that then "I" would start tylan50 Now maybe some Vet Rx for the ones that seem to be having breathing problems. Maybe some of the more qualified people on here will chime in and help you.

I am sorry you are having so much troubles. Sick chickens are no fun. You might post in our Emergency section for more help with this. It sounds like you may be dealing with MG, which is a very bad bacterial respiratory infection. Only certain drugs work on this mycoplasma. Good luck and hang in there. I know how difficult it is to have sick birds, I have been there too.
