What is this? Found on my Roo's belly feeling afraid help

I am not sure in your picture what you are seeing. Is it missing feathers? Is it the round scab looking spot?

I am not the best at these things but others will want to know too.

I circled the strange round scabs so they are easier to spot, not sure what they are. Looks almost like ringworm, a fungal infection, but after reading up on it I found out that chickens can't catch Ringworm.

Yes its a feather follicle I'm worried so much maybe he pluk his own feathers I dust some anti fungal powder

What kind of bedding is he on? Does he lay down a lot? It almost looks like it could be ingrown feather follicles or just some irritated follicles that broke of from laying on them. It doesn't look like much of anything.

Some clearer pictures could help if you can brush the feathers out of the way so we can just see the skin.

Where are you located at?

Is your boy a buff Orpington? His color is gorgeous.

I can tell you love your boy but I'll tell you this I don't think he's in any immediate danger. I'm sure some more people will weigh in too.

I'll see if I can get someone over here who knows just about everything about everything chicken.

If you Google feather cyst in poultry, there are plenty of posts about ingrown feathers and how to remove them. They occur when a feather grow inward rather than coming through the skin. You mentioned the oil gland earlier, which is on the lower back above the tail.
