I have a peking duck that has a hurt leg. I have him quaretined right now in a cage with straw. He's not able to walk on it hardly at all. Any suggestions on what I can feed him to help strenght his leg? He's eating and drinking, but not much at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thnak you in advance

How old?a video of him walking would help. Do you give him extra niacin in his water, or nutritional yeast in his feed? They need lots of niacin because they grow very fast! Also could he of got tangled up in something of your yard?

Look at the bottom of its foot?...Possible Bumble foot?...Is the foot swollen ?..Could be an infection?...
His foot isn't swollen. He doesn't have any cuts or marks on his foot the webbing is all intact. It's swollen at the ankle joint . It was like that when I first got him about a month ago. It got better for a week then it started swelling again. He is in a cage by himself with food and water. We also give him lettuce, grapes, apples and other things extra to keep him in good spirits. He is an adult duck. I got 15 ducks from a friend, his right foot is turned inward as well as another peking I got from her.
