My 1 1/2yr old female Muscovy is isolating herself from the other ducks. Yesterday they were picking on her. And today she doesn't want anything to do with them. I don't know what to do?! What can I do for her to be with other ducks. Plus today I haven't seen her eat or drink anything.

She could be sick or fine. Some of my muscovy go off by themselves. They don't always hang together. My females will occasionally get into smaller fights with each other. I wouldn't force her to have company.

How many other ducks? Same breed? Could she be broody (not likely, as you are in NC. Is she pooping? How long has she been like this? Changes in her environment? What does she usually eat? Weather lately?

We did have snow for like 5days, they eat cracked corn and duck feed, nothing as changed in the yard. I saw her poop earlier today.
Yesterday she seem fine but today she isn't acting her normal self.
They are all the same breed. I have two males and 4 females total.
Tomorrow I'm gonna buy their favorite treats millworms and mullet to see if she will eat those. They have 3 pools, two feeding sations and a whole backyard the run around and chill in it.

2 Males is too many drake for only 4 females. She could be over bred and wants a break. One Male can cover 5-6 Females. Is this lone female the smallest one? I've had the runt of my flock get picked on. I made sure to give plenty of hide away's from the others. I would highly suggest re-homing a male or finding 4+ more females.

I would be sure to give her a safe place. You may want to separate the males from females at least regularly

The flock depends on you to keep them safe, as you know. Sometimes from each other... I have to keep my one drake away from several of my ducks. He stays with his two girlfriends, and is great, but he will pick on some of the others. Wacky drake.

Anyway it might be good to send a stool sample to be tested, just in case...ducks can hide illness till it is too late to help them.
