I had a duckling hatch today it's leg is stuck up under it like it's sitting the other is fine. Will he make it

Sometimes it takes a while to get the legs under them hopefully as time goes on your little one will be fine. Pics would be a good idea.

Hopefully the picture explains better. He was in the egg funny when he hatched so I had to help him. The other leg streched out fine the door isnt flat but I think it will flatten out

Is the leg swollen? Can you gently bend the leg out straight at all?

It's not swollen. I tried but he acted like it hurt maybe or he could have just been moving just to move. He tries to get up on it but he just falls over on his back

How about feeling along the back of the leg to feel if the tendon that runs along the back of the leg is in proper place compare to the other leg.
