my first quail just hatched he is completely out of the egg but the egg is dragging behind him should I take it off him?

Nope. It’ll come off in an hour or two.

Restrict its movement. Its possible it will snag on something and pull its intestines out. It should dry up and fall off soon . If it doesnt you may need to sterilize some scissors and snip it at the thinnest area.
