Can you get a smaller styrofoam ice chest.
It is easier to heat a smaller space/container.

If the light hasn't gotten up to 100 degrees yet you need to get another light bulb..that is not going to work.

I took out towels in the pans and put eggs directly in pan raised pan and now at 60% humidity and 26.9 temp.

It was like 95% humidity and lower 20s temp.

Take the water dish out.
Get the humidity down more closer to 35%.


It does no good if your thermometer and humidity gauge have not been calibrated.

There is no way the eggs will develop and continue to develop at this low of a temperature. You need to get it up to 37C.

Start over...the eggs haven't even started to develop so you aren't losing out on anything yet.

This is not going to work so spend a few days trying to build a better bator and get a regular 75W light bulb and a thermostat to plug the lamp into.
