So I'm hatching a duck egg right now, he pipped earlier today but I went to check on him just now and I can see his nose is right at the hole but he is not moving at all, I'm really worried, is he just sleeping or could he have died somehow?

You should just leave it. It can take up to 24 hours after pipping to start to zip and he is probably just resting. The best thing to do is wait.

I agree, the worst thing that you can do right now is to open the incubator.
