Help

@JMMB I'm no expert but @ 8 mos old my males all had 90% color on their necks. I'd say that bird you're holding is a hen. & white flights so split to white or pied??

Pictures of my boy at 6months old.

At this age if it is a male he should start to be BLUE.
The top of the head .... very brown ...!
Between the eye and the beak = brown ... = female!
The feathers of the throat lined with gray.
Of course the back is barred ... but spalding females often have their backs barred!

KsKingBee .... HELP .... :lau

I will agree that it is most likely a hen until it turns into a male.

I just pick it up and now that I taking a really goog look at it I do belive is a she :( it doesnt have that much blue as the pictures that you showed me its more like greenesh

Well that's not all bad? Hens are hard to come by and the males seem to sell cheaper alone. Check out Spring Creek Peafowl on Facebook they had a bunch listed.
