There is a white thing hanging from my hens bum i dont know what to do about it

Hello and welcome to BYC . I wont be any help with your issue but someone else will be able to help identify what's going on with it. Might post the age of the bird and if its a new layer, it would help with identifying the issue.

Welcome to BYC! That looks like it could be an egg membrane. If she were mine i would catch her and gently remove it.

thank you so much i just did that and it looked like a soft egg but with no yolk in it for some reason.After i got it out she wasn’t acting sick anymore,thanks!

Good job! You did the right thing.

Now I’d keep an eye on her in case she repeats this performance. How long has she been laying, what do you feed her/them, and does she have access to free choice oyster shell?
