HELP!

Ok I think I’m just paranoid, but I’m so worried about this little guy. He’s a rescued duck egg that I estimate to be on about day 25. I haven’t seen him move in a couple of days, when previously I’ve seen him bustling around 24/7. I don’t know if his air sac is big enough, and there’s a concerning red spot (pic below). Is there anything wrong? Is he just resting and getting ready to hatch? Any advice would be appreciated.

That looks like a blood spot or decay, I think he quit :/ I’m not positive though, so we’ll see what others think.

It died. My 2 call duck eggs were supposed to hatch today too, but they were quitters too.
