I accidentally got his bill in the dog house when I lifted it up and set it back down. I could hear him in there, upset. I glanced in there and tried as fast as I could to pry the dog house apart so I could get him out. He got out and the bill on top is bent and it’s bleeding a little on the bottom. I feel so so bad. If I had made them get out before moving the dog house I wouldn’t be here right now. Here some pics, will it be okay eventually? He’s 6 weeks old tomorrow.

It’s bruising some but the dent doesn’t look as bad. I herded them up the hill for a bath and hopefully it will help the swelling and bruising and get his bill clean. I learned a very valuable lesson today and take it from me do not move the petmate doghouse with your ducks inside. It could have been worse, his bill could have been way worse injured. He jumped out of the tub and is preening now. I really hope it heals well and he’ll be ok. I feel really bad about it all. :hit Would Neosporin be ok to put on the bottom and top of his bill?

I put Neosporin on his bill and put them to bed. I really wish I’d made them get out of the dog house. Alaska’s bill doesn’t look as dented. I’ll take pictures in the morning and show you all. I am never using those dog houses again! :he:barnie
