Hello I have A cpl chickens that have seemed to lose there balance, my question is can freerange chickens have a vitamin deficiency? Or is this respiratory? A few chickens are sneezing but not the ones that are off balance.

More details are needed. Heat and dehydration, nurtitional deficiency, Mareks disease, and a number of other things might cause imbalance. How old are your chickens, how hot has it been, do they have shade and shaded fresh water all day, and what do you feed them?

One is two (Silky Roo) and the other only about 6-8weeks(Orpington), I have lost a few chickens Over the summer, some had paralysis (Still eating n drinking)and others wer slow for a few days then just dropped dead. I thought everyone was good but then noticed these 2 off balance and there’s A few sneezing. Last week I gave antibiotics orally to juvenile but didn’t seem to help much. Also gave antibiotics in water to silkie(Separately). I wormed them all and need to do second round. They have ample shade/sun options. I’m in New England so temps are 80ish plenty of water. Give AVC 2x a mth in water. They get layer feed, wild bird seed (Daily) and mealworms( 3/4 days a week), grapes, watermelon, lettuce(occasionally). Thx
