Today I noticed one of my girls super wobbly on her feet. Her balance is just off. She’s about 2 and a half. I have 5 hens and she’s the only one. I believe vitamin deficiency.

I went and got Rooster Booster Vitamins & Electrolytes Lacto Bacillus powder and some 911. I have never had this and directions for everything is a little confusing. I gave her some scrambled eggs tonight as well.

What can I do for her? Is there anything I can get that I can give her with a syringe? Adding to water I don’t feel like she is going to get enough vitamins to recover.

Do you have photos of your hen and her poop?
Is she the one that is getting picked on in the other thread or is this another one? (link below).

When was her last egg?

What do you feed, including treats?

Is her crop emptying?

When was the last deworming?

Is she beginning to molt?

Rooster Booster Vitamins and Electrolytes instructions are on the packaging. The dosing is 1/3 teaspoon powder per gallon of drinking water. The product is designed for the birds to drink the mixed water throughout the day during waking hours.

Recovery 911 is somewhat the same thing, probiotics, electrolytes, etc. Dosing is 1teaspoon per gallon of water.

Choose one of these if you are wanting to add a supplement in the water but do make sure she also has plain fresh drinking water available too.

See that she's eating a nutritionally balanced poultry feed and staying hydrated.
