Today I noticed one of my girls super wobbly on her feet. Her balance is just off. She’s about 2 and a half. I have 5 hens and she’s the only one. I believe vitamin deficiency.

I went and got Rooster Booster Vitamins & Electrolytes Lacto Bacillus powder and some 911. I have never had this and directions for everything is a little confusing. I gave her some scrambled eggs tonight as well.

What can I do for her? Is there anything I can get that I can give her with a syringe? Adding to water I don’t feel like she is going to get enough vitamins to recover.

Do you have photos of your hen and her poop?
Is she the one that is getting picked on in the other thread or is this another one? (link below).

When was her last egg?

What do you feed, including treats?

Is her crop emptying?

When was the last deworming?

Is she beginning to molt?

Rooster Booster Vitamins and Electrolytes instructions are on the packaging. The dosing is 1/3 teaspoon powder per gallon of drinking water. The product is designed for the birds to drink the mixed water throughout the day during waking hours.

Recovery 911 is somewhat the same thing, probiotics, electrolytes, etc. Dosing is 1teaspoon per gallon of water.

Choose one of these if you are wanting to add a supplement in the water but do make sure she also has plain fresh drinking water available too.

See that she's eating a nutritionally balanced poultry feed and staying hydrated.

Yes, she is who is being picked on. I don’t know when her last egg was, they all lay brown eggs. I was feeding Dumor but just switched to Kalmbach. For treats I give them scraps and a mealworm and sunflower blend.

I do feel like her crop is big, but I have always noticed it to be much bigger than my other hens and read that her breed, Bielefelder is built like that. And yes she has been molting.

I’m really worried about her as she’s worse than yesterday with her balance, I did put her in a kennel.

I'd check the crop to make sure it's emptying overnight. If it's not, then address that symptom. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

Check her for lice/mites and I'd also begin direct vitamin therapy. With the balance issues, I'd give her 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4tablet B-Complex daily along with a little egg for the uptake of E.

She has yellow urates along with some intestinal shedding(perhaps some blood?) and mucous. Taking a sample of her poop to a vet for a fecal float can help you determine if she's in need of deworming and/or treated for Coccidiosis.

With her being picked on a lot, likely she has some type of illness/weakness, sometimes though unfortunate, a flock will bully and pick on a sick/weak bird.

I'd keep her near her flock or with them if possible if they are not hurting her. Often a sick/weak bird will isolate themself more too.
