Be very careful about not getting liquid down the center of the throat, if using a dropper. Put the dropper to the left side, facing the chick. Put a little at a time, and let go, so it can swallow.

Just for the record, chicks can be very active, then suddenly plop down exhausted, and sleep. The first couple times that happened to me, I checked to see if they were dead. It's a bit unnerving the first time you see it happen.

well it's sleeping it is acting like its drinking or opening and closing its beak its like this for 20 mins

it just threw something slime up it looks whiteish

At this point, wait to see if it makes it until morning. When you found it away from it's mother, and limping, it could be that it sustained internal injury as well, which were not visible. It may have gotten too cold.
