My duck started getting wabbly last Wednesday. I immediately started adding nutritional yeast to her food. I’m currently feeding her duckling food with niacin in it as well. She’s become worse and can’t stand on her own. When she does, she ends up on her back every time. She is eating and drinking and pooping. Her sister is growing well and has no problems. The vet I called said I should give b complex twice a day which I started yesterday as well. I’m concerned she is not improving. Any advise would be loved.

Welcome to BYC.
How is your duckling doing today?
How old is the duck?
Do you think you might be able to include a video of the duckling trying to walk?
Are there any noticeable abnormalities on the legs (exp, swelling, redness, discoloration, fusion of the joints, etc)?

One should note that there may be a prolonged recovery time in older birds affected with a deficiency in niacin - in younger birds you might be able to see improvement within a day or two. If her condition remains the same regardless of niacin supplementation, it may be likely the issue is not niacin-related. If that is the case, it would be best to see a vet, but if that is not an option we can attempt to assist.
