Help!

My duck egg is late and now is looking discolored on the outside. Its too dark to see anything but the air sac when i candle it. My broody hen still lays on it. The shell is light and dark, kind of striped. Does this mean it has died?

What day is it on?
Can you candle it right now and get clear pictures of what you're seeing and while you are candling it can you pay close attention to see if the inside stuff moves freely when you're moving the egg?

I am sorry to say it has died, it was fully grown. We buried it with a prayer. I cant put my broody hen through that again, she has lost so much weight. Can anyone recommend an incubator? Or a certain kind?

I use a Little Giant incubator.
How much money do you want to spend on an incubator?

I guess what is needed to get a good one, i tried to buy a cheap one and its way too small, didnt work at all

Up to a hundred i guess, like around 60 if thats possible. I just didnt know if there was a good one out there!

I use a Janoel 24. It's very good, I got 100% hatch rate last time I used it. And the time before that I got 16/20 to hatch. But it is $200 dollars, AU. So, pretty expensive.
